Stories from the Dark Side of Managing a Security Research Department in a Start-Up

This short blog post is about two things which are very close to my heart, security research at a startup and sharing knowledge with the community.

Managing research at a fast-growing security start-up company did not come easy, It was (and still is) difficult task with many ups and downs along the way. So when @DamskyIrena asked me to join her to share some tips and tricks with the community, I could not say no.

Initially, we presented this talk at @BSidesNYC, but with some interest from our local @dc9723 chapter (and who can say no to their local branch?), we have decided to re-do it with some twists.
